The rabbit breed that has earned Ardeng Rabbit Meat the right to guarantee "The World's Best Rabbit Meat". Bred into the rabbit is:small head, short ears, small feet, short compact body, wide back loin, small bone structure, tight hide, small viscera cavity, pearl white meat, good taste, moist juicy meat, equal meat on front shoulders as back leg quarters, smaller in size ( 6 1/2 pounds to 7 1/2 pounds), good chance to be the most feed efficient rabbit, very fast growing, high dress out, high stamina to live, consistent large liters, 95% conception rate or better, no electric lights needed in the barns for breeding, market live weights (3 3/4 lb to 4 lb at 7 to 8 weeks and grow out doe fryers reaching 5 3/4 lb in 10 to 13 weeks that dress out over 3 lbs of meat).

Basic make up of the rabbit in percentage order: Californian, Champagne De Agent, American Chinchilla, plus some of every kind of rabbit we ever had.

Development of this rabbit was achieved by keeping records for breeding and observations. Following the results of the records and observations. Consistent on following the same selective breeding patterns with out changing.
